"NIGHTMODE" was produced using accumulated footage from the Drive & Listen website, owing to the global pandemic disenabling me from being able to record my own footage. This project was a form of escapism for me during a time when I felt most confined. I utilised the creation of this piece as an entertaining method of distraction. I had very few intentions when making this piece, other than exploring the various means in which I could be creative and expressive, without actually going outside. In addition this piece enabled me to harness the tools I had on hand, providing me with a brilliant outlet through which I was able to effectively funnel some of my pent-up energy. I also found it comforting to work with this footage, as it allowed me to harken back to a time of greater freedom of movement and liberty.
