S͛IͥGN OͦF ᴛⷮнⷩEͤ ᴛⷮIͥMⷨEͤS͛
- 2021

I produced "S͛IͥGN OͦF ᴛⷮнⷩEͤ ᴛⷮIͥMⷨEͤS͛" using iPhone footage I collected between 2019 and 2021, which I modified and edited to fit a grittier, darker aesthetic. Most of this footage was shot in London, East Sussex, and The Netherlands.

I began this project during the second COVID-19 lockdown in the UK; at the time, everything felt very fractious and uncertain, which I believe this piece is emulative of. It also mirrors the conclusion of a particularly difficult era in my personal life. Because of this, it seemed only right that the piece be devoid of colour, following an entirely monochromatic, greyscale theme. The world at that time felt literally bleak. I modelled this piece around the undercurrents, the quiet unification of our collective sadness and fear, and the global craving for security, resolution, and freedom. "S͛IͥGN OͦF ᴛⷮнⷩEͤ ᴛⷮIͥMⷨEͤS͛" is evocative of that— it was made to be a reflective piece, a sign of the times, allowing a glimpse into all that happened and the cumulative emotions we all shared.
