For my "Sketchbook Variant Series," I used a combination of illustration, graphic design, and collaborative AI. For this specific piece, I began with a stop-motion compilation of one of my 2023 illustration-based sketchbooks and ran it through the Runway AI program to explore outcomes and gain a better understanding of how AI potentially perceives my work. I took the videos it created from the sketchbook import and further refined them using a myriad of editing programs. The final result is highly abstract and graphic, leaning into a more futuristic and soft-format digital aesthetic.
